1493-49.jpg (40352 bytes) 1493-49. Antique American Silver Sugar Tongs in a 'Bright Cut Antique' pattern with acorn grips; marked by George Aiken of Baltimore MD, c.1790-1810.  6.12" long, 1.75" across grips, 1.7 troy oz. Mono erased from bright cut reserve on the arch. $ 600.

Antique American Silver Sugar Tongs in an 'Antique' pattern with acorn grips; marked by Joseph & Samuel Barkley and struck with the Baltimore City assay marks used by Thomas Warner in 1815. 6.0" long, 1.62" across grips, 1.2 troy oz. Engraved with original mono "RG" on the arch and later inscription "EBGW to RG" on one arm. $ 600.

1574-43. Antique American Silver Sugar Tongs in the single struck 'King' pattern with acanthus device and shell heel on the oval grips; made by Robert & William Wilson of Philasdelphia PA, c.1830-1850. 6.0" long, 2.25" across grip, 2.65 troy oz.! Script engraved "Ruddach" on the arch. $ 150.
